Tbilisi gallery hanging paintings by Iranian artists

TEHRAN -- Paintings created by Iranian artists are currently on display during an exhibition at the Kopala Gallery in Tbilisi, Georgia.
A section of the exhibit is dedicated to paintings created by Shima Esfandiari who has held several solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
The ten-day show was opened during a ceremony on September 18 which was attended by Iranian and Georgian officials, art professors and students and those interested in Persian art.
Tbilisi State Academy of Art Director Gia Bughadze, Iranian ambassador to Tbilisi Majid Saeber, Iranian cultural attaché to Georgia Ehsan Khazaei and several other officials attended the opening ceremony.
At the ceremony, Saber expressed his thanks to the organizers of the exhibition saying, “Holding art shows boosts cultural ties between Iran and Georgia”.
