“Tanhavash” joins Matsalu Nature lineup

TEHRAN – Iranian director Fathollah Amiri’s documentary “Tanhavash” was added to the lineup of the Matsalu Nature Film Festival, which will be held in the Estonian cities of Lihula, Haapsalu and Tallinn from September 21 to 25.

The film tries to trace the Iranian cheetah, the sole survivor of the extinct species of Asian Cheetah, which still remains in the country.

“Tanhavash” has won the best film award at the 18th Iran Cinema Celebration for medium-length documentaries.

The festival will also screen “Donkey” by Iranian filmmaker Arash Es’haqi.
