Rio Olympics is a nightmare for me: Behdad Salimi

Iranian super heavyweight weightlifter Behdad Salimi says that he will never forget the memories of the 2016 Olympic Games and it’s like a nightmare.
The gold medalist at London 2012 broke the world record in the snatch in Rio (216kg) but was disqualified after a questionable decision by the jury in the clean and jerk.
He cleared 245 kg twice, even getting three straight white lights from judges in his second attempt but somehow the jury didn't accept the lifts and disqualified him.
“Usually when people see me in the public places, they sympathize with me and remind me of what happened at the 2016 Olympic Games. I, consequently, remember the bitter memories of the event. I will never forget the memories,” Salimi said.
“I’ve started my training for a while to keep my form. I participated in the weightlifting training camp recently. My goal is to participate at the 2017 Asian Weightlifting Championship. Afterward, I will have to participate at the 2017 World Weightlifting Championships in Anaheim, California,” he added.
“It is a difficult task ahead of me in the world championship because the event will bring a several of best weightlifters from Armenia, Georgia and Russia together,” Salimi stated.
