Former FM Kamal Kharrazi martyred in US-Israeli attacks
TEHRAN- Kamal Kharrazi, the head of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, who had previously been injured in a terrorist attack by the US and Israeli enemy, was martyred late on Thursday.
Kharrazi was an advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei; the head of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations; the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran; the head of the Iranian Institute of Higher Education in Cognitive Sciences; and a member of the Expediency Discernment Council.
He also held other executive positions throughout his career, including CEO of the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents, CEO of the Islamic Republic News Agency, and Permanent Representative and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations.
