TEHRAN -- President Mohammad Khatami's special envoy Hojjatoleslam Seyed Mohammad-Ali Abtahi arrived in Dubai to submit his excellency's message of condolence and sympathy to Dubai ruler and the UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashed al-Maktoum.

Abtahi is to submit the condolence message of President Khatami to the senior official of Dubai on passing away of the eldest son of Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Rashed bin Maktoum, 22, the eldest son of Dubai ruler died last Thursday, IRNA reported.
