4,800MW capacity of new power plants under construction in Iran
TEHRAN – Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian said on Thursday that 12 power plants with a total capacity of 4,800 megawatts (MW) are currently under construction across the country, IRIB reported.

Power plants’ overhaul operation completed by 77%
TEHRAN- As announced by an official with Iran’s Thermal Power Plant Holding (TPPH), so far, more than 70,000 megawatts (MW) (77 percent) of the overhaul operation of the country's power plants has been done to provide stable electricity during this summer's peak consumption period.
