altTEHRAN – Commander of the Khatam-ol-Anbiya military base Farzad Ismaili has said the military base in cooperation with the Defense Ministry is designing a missile system similar to the Russian S-300.

The system called ‘Bavar-373” is an upgraded version of the Russian system which will use two or three different missiles, Ismaili told Fars News Agency. Russia signed a contract in 2007 to sell the S-300 missile system to Iran, but it has not delivered the missiles so far.
