Derakhshan elected as judo federation president

Mohammad Derakhshan has been elected as the president of Iran’s Judo Federation on Sunday.

In the presidential elections of the federation held at National Olympic Academy of Iran, Derakhshan secured 21 of the 39 votes available, followed by former Iran judoka Arash Miresmaeili with 18 votes.

He will serve for a term of four years.
