TEHRAN – Iranian lawmakers on Wednesday approved a bill which ensures cooperation between Tehran and Baku on preventing, restricting and mitigating emergency situations.

Based on the single article of the bill, the objective of the agreement is to create the necessary legal framework in order to facilitate mutual assistance in emergency situations, IRIB news agency reported.

Under the agreement, the two sides, upon request, will provide help for one another in emergency cases that could threaten either countries.
