Helicopter crashes in southern Iran, two are missing

TEHRAN — In a helicopter crash in Persian Gulf waters in southern Iran on Tuesday night two were killed and two went missing, IRNA news agency reported.

A search operation is underway to find the two missing people.

The rescue helicopter, operated by Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), crashed while transferring an oil worker who had suffered a heart attack. 

According to the report, the patient and the paramedic are dead while the pilot has survived.
