TEHRAN - Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, on Wednesday warned the U.S. about any military adventure against Iran.

The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran is always ready and will counter any threat,” Sayyari said.

He said the U.S. will suffer greatly if it goes ahead with its military threats.

“If an incident happens, surely they will suffer greatly,” the veteran military commander pointed out.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the military official said, “When the enemy does not achieve results through military actions, it continuously exerts pressure in the realm of softwar and hybrid war; however, we are not inexperienced in this field.”

The commander said that unity is the only way to counter the foes.

“The country’s officials and our people are familiar with the concepts of softwar, hybrid war, and cognitive war, and they know that the only way to counter the enemy’s tricks under current conditions is unity, cohesion, coordination, empathy, and mutual support,” Press TV quoted Sayyari as saying.

Admiral Sayyari stressed that the enemy has sought to break this unity, but the Iranian people have always neutralized the enemy’s tricks in a timely manner.

The U.S. is reinforcing its military buildup near Iran. Writing on his Truth Social account on Tuesday, Donald Trump said, “A massive Armada is heading to Iran. It is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose.”

“The United States has been pursuing the implementation of gunboat diplomacy. They try to intimidate the other side by deploying large ships and extensive equipment and to convey the impression that they can inflict damage,” said the commander.
