TEHRAN – MP Gholamreza Mesbahi-Moqaddam revealed on Sunday that Libya has presented two contradictory reports on the fate of Imam Mussa Sadr.

“Libya has announced its readiness to resolve the issue but, as yet, we have received no definitive report from the Libyans,” he told Mehr News Agency.
In one report “Libyans have said Imam Mussa Sadr and his two companions had been killed by Libyan security forces and their bodies perished. While in another report Libya has stated they were killed in 1978 but their bodies exist,” the MP explained.
Mesbahi-Moqaddam said another surprise report may surface on the issue.
“Recently, a court in Italy has announced that Imam Mussa Sadr and his two companions had entered Italy which is in contrast” to the two rulings by Italian courts in the past, he remarked.
“This shows a shady deal is being arranged between Italy and Libya,” the MP noted
