TEHRAN - Ali Akbar Velayati, the senior foreign policy advisor to the Leader, said on Tuesday that the European countries can play more effective role in helping settle crises in the Middle East.

“Denmark and the other European countries can play better and more effective role in solving regional problems especially in fighting terrorism and extremist and Takfiri movements,” he said during a meeting with Danish Deputy Foreign Minister Lone Dencker Wisborg in Tehran.

Wisborg highlighted the necessity of fining political solution to regional crises.
