TEHRAN – Iran’s Rouhollah Rostami claimed a gold medal at the 12th Dubai 2022 Para Powerlifting World Cup on Thursday.

He finished in first place by lifting 218kg in the Men's Up to 80kg class.

Iraqi and Georgian powerlifters came second and third, respectively.

Around 200 lifters from 36 nations are in action at the Dubai Club for People of Determination at the Fazza 12th Dubai 2022 Para Powerlifting World Cup.
