TEHRAN – Poriya Hossein Khanzadeh, Iran’s young talented outside hitter, has joined Al Arabi of Qatar.

Khanzadeh’s move comes from a surprising transfer from Italian giants Volley Lube. After days of speculation, the transfer was confirmed by Al Arabi, marking a new chapter in the professional career of this rising star.

Al Arabi — who have had a turbulent start to the season — views Khanzadeh’s arrival as a key step toward reclaiming domestic dominance and pursuing the championship title again in the Qatari Super League.

Khanzadeh is regarded as one of the most promising Iranian volleyball players and a regular member of the national team.
