TEHRAN – The 41st General Assembly of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) will be held on February 16, 2026 in Mecca, on the sidelines of the third Makkah Halal Forum.

The forum will take place during February 14–16, 2026, at the exhibition and events center of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce. The event is organized under the patronage of Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Saudi Arabia’s minister of commerce. Previous editions of the forum drew participants from 120 countries.

Samad Hassanzadeh, head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), will attend the ICCD assembly at the head of a delegation that includes the chamber’s deputy for international affairs and members of the board of the Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center (ICRIC).

Key agenda items include reviewing and approving financial reports, holding board elections, confirming the appointment of the ICCD president, following up on resolutions adopted at the 40th General Assembly, and examining applications for new associate members.

Elections for the new ICCD board of directors and decisions regarding the appointment of the chamber’s president are expected to be among the most significant outcomes of the session. Participants will also determine the time and venue of future meetings and review the ICCD’s international events calendar for 2026.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly, the 71st meeting of the ICCD Financial Committee, the fourth Executive Committee meeting, and a session of the board of the Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center will also be held in Mecca.
