TEHRAN – Foreign university students residing in the country have been provided with safe and secure accommodation, an official with the Organization for Foreign University Students has said.

Most of the students from near countries have left the country, Mehr quoted Mohammad-Baqer Jafari as saying.

Students who come from farther countries, such as African countries, and are not able to leave the country, have been accommodated in dormitories, he added.

The Organization for Foreign University Students has announced that in cooperation with Immigration Police, foreign students are allowed to leave the country via land borders without the need to obtain special permits.
