Government supports industries by tax, insurance facilities

TEHRAN- During a visit to food industry units, the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade emphasized government support in the form of working capital facilities for producers, and a moratorium on tax and insurance payments for industrial units.

According to a report by Mehr News Agency, Seyyed Mohammad Atabak, the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, explained the latest status of services provided by the Ministry during wartime conditions. 

He stated that production units are currently operating in three shifts, and following the President's directive regarding tax and social security payments by industries, the necessary support will be provided by the government.

According to the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, he added that due consideration and cooperation must be exercised regarding the timing of tax collections and insurance matters for industries. 

Necessary directives have been issued in this regard to ensure the protection of production and the production cycle, he added.

On the sidelines of his visit to several food production factories, Atabak emphasized: "We will strive to resolve production-related challenges more quickly during this period. The main issues revolve around the working capital of industries, and the President has once again emphasized the Central Bank and the

Ministry of Economy regarding the related resolution, because the country's factories need working capital."

First VP emphasizes increasing production processes, securing essential goods 

The First Vice President, in a meeting with the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, emphasized the necessity of increasing the uninterrupted production process and securing essential goods for the people under wartime conditions.

According to a Mehr News Agency report quoted by the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, Mohammad-Reza Aref visited the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade today and met with Seyyed Mohammad Atabak. 

During this meeting, he was briefed in detail on the supply chain from production to distribution of essential goods, the method of monitoring and inspecting the market and distribution centers, order registration and clearance of priority goods from customs, and the operational status of enterprises and production/industrial units.

The First Vice President, while emphasizing the need to increase the country's uninterrupted and non-stop production process, provided necessary guidelines for securing the essential needs of the people, especially under wartime conditions, and detailed the government's support for industrialists and producers.

Subsequently, in this meeting, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Seyyed Mohammad Atabak presented a report to the First Vice President on the monitoring and evaluation of the market for essential goods and raw materials needed by production factories. This monitoring is carried out by the heads of Industry, Mining and Trade departments in the provinces, in coordination and cooperation with unions, guilds, and private sector activists.

Furthermore, in this meeting, the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, referring to field visits to production, industrial, and food industry units in the industrial towns of Tehran province and the two-to-three-shift operations of the workforce, stated that the most important needs of industries are the provision of working capital and insurance and tax support by the government.
