Tavanir to establish 3GW of renewable power plants for agricultural wells
TEHRAN – Iran's Power Generation, Distribution, and Transmission Company (known as Tavanir), in collaboration with the Iranian Fuel Conservation Company (IFCC), is going to implement a program for installing 3,000 megawatts (three gigawatts) of renewable power plants for agricultural wells across the country, Mehr News Agency reported.

Over 1,800 rural households connected to national power grid since Mar. 2019

500 new villages to be connected to national power grid by March 2020
TEHRAN – Iran’s Power Generation, Distribution and Transmission Company (known as Tavanir) is going to connect 500 new villages to the national electricity network by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 19, 2020), IRNA reported, quoting an official with the company.
