Ali Akbar Ahmadian, veteran IRGC commander, replaces Shamkhani

TEHRAN – Ali Akbar Ahamadian, an IRGC commander, was appointed on Monday by the Iranian president as the new secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
