Punishing Israel as an aggressor is legitimate defense, Iran tells Germany

TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on Thursday that “legitimate defense” to punish Israel is a “necessity” as the regime violated international law and the Vienna conventions by attacking Iran’s consulate in Damascus on April 1.
