Iran urges Oman to help resolve Syrian crisis

TEHRAN – The Iranian ambassador to Oman has called on the Sultanate of Oman to play a more active role in resolving the crisis in Syria. 
 
Ambassador Hossein Noushabadi made the remarks during a meeting with Omani Prime Minister Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said in Muscat on Sunday. 
 
During the meeting, Noushabadi presented the Omani prime minister a letter from Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi that invited him to pay a visit to Iran.
