Hungarian minister: Iran enjoys rich culture and civilization

TEHRAN - Miklos Kasler, the Hungarian minister of human capacities, said on Friday that Iran enjoys a rich culture, history, and civilization.

During a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Budapest Gholam Ali Rajabi Yazdi, Kasler said that Hungary supports expansion of relations and cooperation with Iran.

He also praised efforts being made by the Iranian embassy in area of culture, saying the publication of leading Iranian books has provided an opportunity for the Hungarian people to be familiar with the Iranian culture and civilization.

Rajabi Yazdi presented a report of the measures taken for expanding cooperation in cultural, scientific and educational areas.

He said two Hungarian archeologists will visit Iran and hold meetings with Iranian researchers. They will also visit historical and archeological sites in Iran, the ambassador added.
