Water scarcity haunting Hour al-Azim

Hour al-Azim wetland in the southwestern Khuzestan province is grappling with a severe shortage of water.

Due to insufficient rainfall and recent droughts, now about two million hectares out of the three million hectares area of the country's wetlands are dry and turned into sand and dust spots.
