President urges economists to present ways to solve economic problems

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- President Mahmud Ahmadinejad called on Iranian economists to present ways to basically solve country's economic problems.

In a meeting here on Thursday afternoon, which took around six hours, Ahmadinejad, first vice-president, vice-president for executive affairs, senior advisor to the president, eight ministers and heads of Central Bank and Management and Planning Organization met around 50 economists from different universities and discussed the economic problems. The president underlined the continuation of experts’ meetings to find ways to solve economic problems. He also emphasized the establishment of specialized working groups in ministries to consider and find solutions for economic issues
