Iran, Uzbekistan eye AI-driven agricultural co-op as trade delegation aims for $2b

TEHRAN- In a joint meeting and subsequent conference on agricultural cooperation between Iran and Uzbekistan, the two countries' agriculture ministers emphasized joint investment in AI-based modern farming, livestock breeding, and pasture development. With a large Iranian trade delegation present—comprising over 100 companies and heads of provincial chambers—officials outlined plans to boost bilateral agricultural trade from $200 million to $600 million within two years, while broader trade ambitions target $2 billion. Iran also highlighted its transport capacities to provide landlocked Uzbekistan with access to open waters.

ICCIMA trade delegation departs for Tashkent

TEHRAN- Hossein Pir-Moazen, Vice President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries,Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has departed for Tashkent at the head of a specialized delegation comprising some heads of provincial chambers, heads of specialized committees of the Iran Chamber, heads of associations, and those active in the food industry, agriculture, and related industries.

Iran, Uzbekistan discuss removing barriers to bilateral trade

TEHRAN- Samad Hassanzadeh, the head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, spoke at a meeting with the Uzbek ambassador in Tehran about the importance of facilitating and expediting the transit of Iranian goods through Uzbekistan. He stated: "One of the serious requests from the Uzbek side is the visa waiver and facilitation of travel between the two countries, especially for Iranian traders."
