Iran unveils world’s longest-range tactical ballistic missile
TEHRAN — Iran's newest ballistic missiles, called "Kheiber-Shekan" and "Emad-3", were unveiled during the Quds Day march in Tehran on Friday. Kheiber-Shekan is the world's longest-range tactical ballistic missile with a range of 1,450 km. The last Friday of Ramadan, titled “International Quds Day”, aims to highlight the Palestinians’ struggle to get rid of the Israeli occupation and suppression.

Famous Iranian poet and writer passes away
TEHRAN — Mohammad Ali Eslami Nodooshan, a famous Iranian writer, poet, translator and a graduate of international law from France, died on Monday at the age of 97 in Canada due to old age. Nodooshan's wife has announced that his body will be buried in Canada.

Legendary general commemorated
TEHRAN — A commemoration ceremony was held on Sunday for General Ali Sayyad Shirazi who was assassinated by a terrorist allied to the Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) in Tehran on April 10, 1999. The ceremony, hosted by the Army, was attended by military officials. Sayyad Shirazi served as commander of the Ground Force during Iraq’s war against Iran in the 1980s.
