A huge crowd of people is flocking in the holy city of Karbala, where the shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) is located, to perform Arbaeen rituals.

The Arbaeen pilgrimage comes 40 days after Ashura, the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).

This year Arbaeen falls on September 17.
