TEHRAN – Iran defeated the Philippines 25-5 in Group B of the 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship on Friday.

Iran will play Uzbekistan on Saturday in the quarterfinals round.

Iran had previously defeated Hong Kong and Kazakhstan in the group stage.

The Championship started on March 22 in Singapore and will run until March 27.
