    Iranian handicrafts: Chogha

    TEHRAN – Chogha, also known with names like “Dehghani Abba” or shepherd cloak and “Chokha”, is a clothing that men from Bakhtiari tribe wear over their long-sleeved shirt or coats. This traditional weave is produced by skillful hands of Bakhtiari women and is one of the prominent handicrafts of Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari province. This weave is a kind of symbol and signature of the tribe.
