Loading, unloading operations continuously underway at all ports of country
TEHRAN- The Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) announced that cargo unloading and loading operations are ongoing without a moment's pause at all ports across the country, including Shahid Rajaee Port and Imam Khomeini Port, and there is no problem regarding the unloading and loading of essential goods.
According to statistics and information from the Ports and Maritime Organization, currently, at all ports in the country, the transportation chain continues regularly with adjustments in the positioning of vessels, and by prioritizing the berthing of ships carrying essential goods, the goal of ensuring the country's food security is being pursued diligently.
Furthermore, unloading and loading processes at these ports are proceeding normally, and all logistical capacities are active.
Earlier, the Secretary General of the Shipping and Related Services Association told IRNA: “Currently, all commercial ports in the country are active, and vessel traffic in them is proceeding normally and routinely, without any restrictions on berthing, unloading, or loading.”
Additionally, the Director General of Ports and Maritime of Hormozgan Province, referring to the Minister of Transport and Urban Development's emphasis on the stability and continuity of ongoing operations at the vital and strategic Shahid Rajaee Port, stated: “The unloading of essential goods and the transportation cycle at this important hub are proceeding completely normally, without any problems or disruptions, and at a favorable speed.”
