Minab tragedy recorded in history
TEHRAN - The Iranian people will remember the massacre of 168 elementary schoolgirls in the city of Minab forever. History will never forgive this horrible act. The scenes of this heinous crime are even more heartbreaking than those seen during the Gaza war.
The bloodied and charred bodies of these small girls have made the entire Iranian nation mournful, let alone their heart-broken families. The white headscarves of these girls were colored with their blood.
Who could imagine that a crime of this magnitude happens in Iran? It is impossible to see this heart-rendering scenes and hold back one’s tears. The scenes of the wailing mothers and other family members are as heartbreaking and mournful as the lifeless girls.
Humanity has been crucified. Their parents should live with deep grief all throughout their lifetime. This unspeakable crime is a taint on the conscience of human being. This tragedy is being committed by those who lectures others about human rights and the value of human life.
The mothers and fathers were waiting for the return of their cherished small daughters from school. However, suddenly something unbelievable happened: their girls were buried alive under tons of rubble in the Israeli-U.S. airstrike.
Now every single family in Iran, especially those who have schoolchildren, feel grieved. Every one of these girls had many wishes for their lifetime. But their wishes were buried with them.
What was the sin of these small girls and what can comfort their parents, whose lives have been ruined?
These girls spoke fervently about their teachers, classmates, friends, and paintings to their parents. But they no longer live and their sweet speaking will continue to live in the memories of their families.
These budding flowers were torn apart and become a victim of the blood-tainted Israeli and U.S. political chess game before they realized what the Machiavellian politics means.
Now the name of the Shajar-e Tayebeh School in Minab is synonymous with grief, tragedy, cruelty as well as the symbol of inhumanity and state terrorism in the mind of the Iranian people and even the world.
Such a degree of brutality even whitewashes the name of the Daesh terrorism, which its kind the world has not seen in its modern history.
This shocking tragedy happened in the first day of the war against Iran by Israel and the U.S., two regimes which claim their airstrikes are precision-guided. Perhaps, in their bloodthirsty views “precision-guided” means mass killings.
What is the justification for this crime. Do war criminal Netanyahu and mindless Trump care about the agonies of the bereaved families. And will war criminal Netanyahu and Trump will be held accountable for this crime?
There is no hope of this, as the United States has already made threats against the International Criminal Court (ICC) that has accused Netanyahu of committing crimes against humanity in Gaza.
However, they will be put on trial in the conscience of the people around the world, especially the Iranians.
