Norouz holidays in Iran begins on March 20. Holidays last for two weeks, exactly equal to the time that a person is quarantined to determine whether he is healthy or not. It is an opportunity to contain the outbreak of coronavirus.

Professors sign Tehran Times and Mehr' s letter to Guterres: Use Norouz as opportunity to promote peace
A group of distinguished professors and intellectuals have written a letter to United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres calling on him to use Norouz, the Persian New Year, as an opportunity to remove “structural violence” in international system in order to achieve true peace (Positive Peace).
