Israeli strikes kill 50 Palestinians in Gaza

At least 50 Palestinians have been killed in the latest Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported.
Twenty of the victims were in Gaza City, which has faced sustained bombardment. In the central Nuseirat refugee camp, an Israeli strike on a home killed five people — including children — and left others trapped under rubble, Al Jazeera reported. Four of the dead were seeking aid when they were struck.
The ministry also confirmed 10 deaths in the past 24 hours from famine and malnutrition, among them three children. This brings the total number of hunger‑related deaths since the war began to 332, including 124 children.
Since a UN-backed global hunger monitor declared famine in parts of Gaza earlier this month, 54 people — nine of them children — have died from starvation. The latest was a baby girl, whose death observers say reflects the deadly impact of an Israeli‑made famine.
Since October 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has left at least 63,371 people dead and 159,835 wounded. Of those, 2,218 lost their lives and over 16,434 were injured while seeking desperately needed aid.
