TEHRAN – Iran and Uzbekistan football teams shred the spoils in a goalless draw at the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup.

Iran were held to a goalless draw against South Korea on Wednesday.

The young Team Melli are scheduled to play Lebanon on Tuesday in their last match in the preliminary round.

The competition started on Jan. 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will run until Jan. 24.
