South Pars to begin new year overhauls early, aiming for record efficiency

TEHRAN- The managing director of the South Pars Gas Complex announced that the major overhauls in the South Pars for the Iranian year 1405 (starts on March 21) will commence in the early days of the new year, stating that these operations will be carried out with an innovative approach, leveraging successful past experiences, and operational cohesion to increase equipment readiness and achieve record performance in the field of overhauls.

Referring to the successful performance of the thirteen refineries during the past winter, Gholam-Abbas Hosseini stated that the stable gas production during peak consumption, which ensured the comfort and well-being of fellow citizens, was the result of meticulous planning, intelligent management, and the round-the-clock efforts of the complex's dedicated personnel.

Emphasizing that the experience of successfully managing through the winter consumption peak must be turned into a strategic asset for future years, he added that it is essential to accurately extract, analyze, and document all issues, challenges, and potential bottlenecks from this period. Addressing these root causes will further strengthen the path to sustainable production.

Hosseini underscored the importance of infrastructure, stating that through systematic and targeted planning, they will accelerate the process of ensuring a stable water supply for the refineries, as safeguarding critical infrastructure guarantees the continuation of safe and sustainable production.

He also stressed the necessity of synergy among the refineries, stating that the problems of each refinery must be precisely identified and resolved, and that notable and successful measures should be implemented in other refineries to achieve an integrated improvement in performance across the complex.
