Comprehensive housing plan drafted based on production leap law requirements
TEHRAN- The Minister of Transport and Urban Development announced the drafting and finalization of the "Comprehensive Housing Plan" in line with the implementation of legal requirements for approval by the Supreme Housing Council, and said: "With the implementation of this 10-year document, the government's policies in worn-out textures, land annexation, locating new towns, and prioritizing supportive intervention with special focus on deciles 1 to 5 will be operationalized."

Construction of 75,000 rental housing units forecasted
TEHRAN- The Minister of Transport and Urban Development has announced the start of construction for 94,000 worker housing units and a forecast for building 75,000 rental housing units, stating that in the first phase, 6,000 rental units will be allocated to young couples.

5,000 National Housing Movement units to be ready for delivery by March 2026
TEHRAN- The managing director of New Towns Development Company announced the company's readiness to deliver 5,000 units of the National Housing Movement Plan by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2026), stating: “Approximately 52,000 National Housing Movement units in these towns have achieved over 50 percent physical progress.”
