TEHRAN – Sadegh Samimi of Iran claimed a bronze medal at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Nagoya, Japan on Friday.

He secured a bronze with a throw of 60.32 meters.

The gold medal went to Abuduaini Tuergong of China with 64.26 meters, ending a 24-year wait for China to reclaim the gold medal in the event.

China’s Wu Nanjun seized the silver with 61.58 meters.
